Ravneet Gill is a talented and well-known British pastry chef, author, and activist. You might recognize her as one of the judges from the British baking competition Junior Bake Off, but her most recent project is the Channel 4/Netflix cooking show Five Star Chef.

The new series follows seven gourmet chefs competing to become the new owner of the prestigious Palm Courts restaurant in London’s Langham Hotel. Ravneet acts as one of the judges on the series alongside resident chef Michel Roux Jr. and restauranteur Mike Reid.

Ravneet’s fans have been trying to determine the identity of her “mystery man” for a while, but on May 11 of this year, she finally revealed who he is on her Instagram. The pastry queen said that she and fiancé Mattie Taiano had gotten married after getting engaged late last year (while getting a parking ticket!),

Of course, it’s fitting that their love story started in the kitchen years ago, Mattie was the sous chef, and Ravneet was on pastry duty. In her post, Ravneet gushed that their “relationship is built on a lot of laughter, and a constant consideration of what we will eat next.”

Is Ravneet Gill pregnant?

It has been a whirlwind year for Ravneet! In honor of the Five Star Chef finale (which coincided with the July 14 streaming premiere of the show on Netflix), she revealed that she is pregnant, cheekily referring to her bun in the oven as her “biggest baking project yet.” It seems massive congratulations for Ravneet and her new husband Mattie are in order.
