From the moment Ragnarok season 2 hit Netflix at the end of May 2021 fans around the world have been eagerly anticipating the show’s return. The good news is that Ragnarok season 3 is not only coming to Netlfix in 2023, but it’s coming out in August!

How many seasons of Ragnarok are there?
Currently, there are two seasons of Ragnarok available to stream on Netflix. The first season premiered in January 2020, season 2 premiered in May 2021, and season 3 will release in August 2023. Sadly, the show’s third season will be the final season in the series, meaning that the show will have a total of three seasons and 18 episodes as each season consists of six episodes.

The wait for new episodes of Ragnarok finally ends on Aug. 24, 2023, with the release of the show’s third and final season on Netflix globally. More than two years have passed since season 2 dropped on May 27, 2021, so it might be time for a binge-watch in the weeks leading up to the show’s return.
The series is among a wave of exciting shows coming to Netflix in August, including The Witcher and One Piece.
How many episodes is Ragnarok season 3?
Like the first two seasons of Ragnarok, season 3 will consist of six episodes total. While it’s unclear how long the episodes in the final season will be, it’s expected they’ll be the same average length as episodes from seasons 1 and 2. Is there a Ragnarok season 3 trailer?
Despite the show’s return in August, Netflix has not shared the trailer for Ragnarok season 3 yet. We should see the trailer a few weeks before the season premieres as Netflix typically releases a trailer for shows within a month of their return, if not sooner.
