The Tutor cast: Who stars in the thriller movie?

We all know Noah Schnapp as Will Byers in the popular sci-fi series Stranger Things, but he takes on a much different role in the mystery thriller The Tutor. This film is now streaming on Netflix, and it’s worth checking out if you’re looking for a movie with a lot of twists and turns.

Helmed by Jordan Ross from a screenplay written by Ryan King, The Tutor follows a private tutor named Ethan Campbell who finds himself involved in a complicated situation when he lands a high-paying tutoring job to instruct a billionaire’s son who becomes dangerously obsessed and stalks him and his girlfriend.

Schnapp plays the obsessed student, Jackson. This is what we meant when we said the young actor is playing a role he’s never played before. But he’s not the only actor you’ll recognize in the movie. There are several other familiar faces, and we shared who they play in the film right below.

As mentioned above, Schnapp portrays Jackson, a teen from an affluent family. Jackson initially comes off as reserved when Ethan meets him, but things start getting awkward as they continue to meet.

Besides Stranger Things, Schnapp has also had roles in the movies Bridge of Spies and Hubie Halloween. He voiced the character Charlie Brown in The Peanuts Movie and the character Kai in the animated movie The Legend of Hallowaiian. He also had a guest appearance in the comedy series Liza on Demand.

Garrett Hedlund plays the role of professional tutor, Ethan Campbell. You might’ve watched him in the movies Troy, Friday Night Lights, Four Brothers, Country Strong, On the Road, Pan, Mudbound, Triple Frontier and The United States vs. Billie Holiday. He also plays the role of Mitch Keller in the crime drama series Tulsa King.

Victoria Justice portrays the role of Annie, Ethan’s girlfriend. She is best known for playing the role of Lola Martinez in Zoey 101 and Tori Vega in Victorious. She also had roles in the movies The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, The First Time, Fun Size, Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List, Trust, Afterlife of the Party and A Perfect Pairing.
