One of the characters to speak on Mickey’s newfound fame is Mickey’s second ex-wife Lorna (Becki Newton).

Lorna spends the first half of season 2 still working as Mickey’s legal assistant/office manager, but also reenrolled in law school and focusing on wedding planning with her fiancé Cisco. But now she’s wearing more pantsuits and short/skirt sets, which was the costume department’s way of showing where Lorna is now professionally.

It’s unclear if Becki Newton was actually pregnant during the taping of the second season, but it was revealed that she was pregnant with her fourth child in July 2022. On July 26, 2022, Becki was spotted taking a stroll with her husband Chris Diamantopoulos, around a Los Angeles neighborhood with a noticeable baby bump. The news outlet Just Jared spoke with a rep of Becki’s, and they confirmed she was pregnant.

Production on The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 began in November 2022, which is four months after news of Becki’s pregnancy was announced. This means she could’ve still been pregnant during filming, which would make sense why her character’s midsection is rarely shown in the second season.
