When audiences first swooned over the tall, dark, handsome, and talented actor Taylor Zakhar Perez, he made his high-profile movie debut in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth 2 in 2020. He played the new love interest and school heartthrob Marco in the final two movies of the trilogy.

Following up the hit Netflix movies, Zakhar Perez appeared in the former Max series Minx and the film 1Up, but his biggest starring role to date will be in Amazon Prime Video’s film adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s best-selling novel Red, White & Royal Blue.

The 31-year-old star, born on Christmas Eve 1991, headlines the eagerly awaited movie alongside fellow Netflix star Nicholas Galitzine, who starred in the blockbuster romantic drama Purple Hearts. Alex Claremont-Diaz and Prince Henry are coming to a screen near you!

He’s much taller than his real-life friend and Kissing Booth co-star Joey King, who’s about 5 feet 3 inches tall. Compared to his new on-screen love interest Nicholas Galiztine, he’s barely taller by an inch. Galitzine is 6 feet even, making their height difference diverge from canon, but when the actors are this talented, who cares really?

The official trailer for Red, White & Royal Blue was released by Amazon Prime Video on July 6, just over a month ahead of the movie’s release on Aug. 11. In the trailer, Zakhar Perez and Galitzine’s chemistry as Alex and Henry is on full display in teases of some of the book’s best and biggest moments, such as the cakegate debacle heard round the world.
