The series centers around lawyer Mickey Haller, a lawyer known for working out of the back seat of his Lincoln, thus his nickname as the Lincoln Lawyer. In the first season, Mickey finds himself taking on the caseload of a murdered lawyer including a high-profile murder case that could prove to be make or break for Mickey. Luckily, he’s surrounded by an incredible support system in the form of the show’s many other incredible characters!
This is a trend that continues into season 2 which brings back all of our favorite characters as well as a handful of new faces who play into the new season’s cases.

The Lincoln Lawyer cast
The Lincoln Lawyer features an incredible ensemble filled with amazing actors you’re likely to recognize from their roles in both film and television. While both seasons of the show feature some amazing guest players, the main cast consists of Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Krista Warner, and Angus Sampson. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller
In the lead role is actor Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who plays the show’s title character Mickey Haller aka the Lincoln Lawyer. If you don’t already know his name, you’re sure to be won over as Garcia-Rulfo is a true scene-stealer and the perfect leading man in the show. Mickey is a lawyer who will do anything to protect his clients (and his family), using his outside-of-the-box thinking to build the best possible defenses for his clients.
Where have you seen him before? If you’re trying to place where you know Manuel Garcia-Rulfo from, it’s likely from one of his many roles on the big screen. Among the many films he’s appeared in include The Magnificent Seven, Murder on the Orient Express, Widows, Good Savage, A Man Called Otis, and Sicario 2.

Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson
Starring alongside Garcia-Rulfo is Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson, Mickey’s first wife and the mother of his daughter Krista. Like Mickey, Maggie is also a lawyer, working in the District Attorney’s office as a prosecutor.
Where have you seen her before? Where haven’t you seen Campbell from might be the better question to be asking! Across her career, Campbell has appeared in a number of projects but you likely recognize her from her role as Sidney Prescott from the Scream franchise or from her roles in hit series such as House of Cards, Grey’s Anatomy and Party of Five.

Jazz Raycole as Izzy Letts
Among those closest to Mickey as part of his small, but mighty team is his driver Izzy, played by actress Jazz Raycole. A recovering addict, Izzy enters Mickey’s orbit initially as a client but soon becomes one of his close confidants when he offers her a job as his personal driver in exchange for his legal services.
Where have you seen her before? Raycole is no stranger to the world of Television having appeared in a number of hit series over the years including My Wife and Kids, Everybody Hates Chris, Jericho, The Soul Man, The Quad, and, most recently, Council of Dads.

Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Detective Raymond Griggs
Is he a friend or foe? That’s a question fans will be asking throughout the show about Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine’s Detective Raymond Griggs, a hard-working detective whose job often puts him in Mickey’s orbit. Luckily, he’s turned out to be more friend than foe.
Where have you seen him before? Mwine is a veteran actor who has appeared in a number of hit series over the years including The Chi, The Knick, Treme, and Heroes.

Becki Newton as Lorna Crane
Among Mickey’s closest allies in his legal battles is Lorna Crane, played with perfection by Becki Newton. Lorna is Mickey’s second ex-wife who works as part of his legal team at his law firm as his office manager and a paralegal in training working to finish her JD. While their marriage might not have worked out in the end, Lorna and Mickey both share a mutual respect for one another and have remained friends. She is currently engaged to Cisco, who also happens to be a member of Mickey’s legal team.
Where have you seen her before? Chances are you might recognize Newton for her iconic role as Amanda Tanen in ABC’s Ugly Betty which was her first breakout role. Since the series wrapped, she’s appeared in a number of other series including Love Bites, The Goodwin Games, Tell Me a Story, and Divorce!
Angus Sampson as Cisco
Among those closest to Mickey is his pal Cisco, played by Angus Sampson. Not only is Cisco a loyal friend but he also works as part of Mickey’s legal time as an investigator. Cisco’s history as a former biker gang member gives him the perfect blend of street smarts and connections to help him in his role as an investigator who always manages to come through for Mickey. He’s also the fiance of Lorna.
Where have you seen him before? During his decades in the industry, Sampson has appeared in a handful of shows and movies. On the cinematic end, you might recognize him from movies including Mad Max: Fury Road, Where the Wild Things Are and Insidious. Meanwhile, those on the TV side might recognize him from his roles in shows including No Activity, Nightflyers, Shut Eye, and Fargo.

Krista Warner as Hayley Haller
Relative newcomer Krista Warner steps into the spotlight as Hayley Haller, the daughter of Mickey and Maggie! While Hayley doesn’t play a major role in the show’s legal storylines, she’s who Mickey does everything for as he looks to give her the best life possible and be the best dad he can be.
Where have you seen her before? Surprisingly, The Lincoln Lawyer is Warner’s biggest role since breaking into the industry with only a few credits to her resume thus far including 2021’s Middle of Nowhere and Priorities Chapter One: Money Isn’t Everything.

Lana Parrilla as Lisa Trammell
Joining the cast in season 2 is the amazing Lana Parrilla, who is playing Lisa Trammell, a chef and community leader who Mickey first meets while enjoying a dinner with Maggie that doesn’t quite end as he hoped. Mickey and Lisa hit things off and the two become romantically entangled before life throws them both a curveball as Lisa is arrested for murder, leaving her in need of Mickey’s legal help.
Where have you seen her before? Lana Parrilla is best known for her role as Regina Mills aka the Evil Queen in ABC’s Once Upon a Time. In addition to OUAT, Parrilla has starred in a number of shows over the years including Why Women Kill, Miami Medical, Swingtown, Windfall, 24, Boomtown, Spin City, and Lost.

Yaya DaCosta as Andrea “Andy” Freemann
Joining the mix in season 2 as Mickey’s latest adversary in the courtroom is actress Yaya DaCosta as Andrea “Andy” Freemann. Andy is a close friend of Maggie and a ruthless prosecutor assigned to Lisa’s case. Thus far, Mickey has never been able to beat Andy in the courtroom but could that finally change in his defense of Lisa? That remains to be seen.
Where have you seen her before? Yaya DaCosta is best known for playing nurse April Sexton in NBC’s hit medical drama Chicago Med. In addition to her role on Chicago Med, DaCosta has appeared in a number of series and movies over the years including Our Kind of People, The Butler, The Kids Are All Right, In Time, Ugly Betty, and Whitney.

Where have you seen him before? Gorham is a veteran of TV, appearing in some amazing hits over his career with roles in beloved shows including Felicity, Popular, Medical Investigation, Harper’s Island, Ugly Betty, Covert Affairs, Once Upon a Time, 2 Broke Girls and Insatiable.

Lamont Thompson as Judge James P. Stanton
Among the characters who play a key role in the first season is Lamont Thompson’s Judge James P. Stanton, the judge presiding over the Trevor Elliott murder trial.

Michael Graziadei as Jeff Golantz
Our final key player in the series’ ensemble cast in season 1 is Michael Graziadei’s Jeff Golantz. Golantz will be going head-to-head with Mickey, as the prosecutor on the Trevor Elliott murder trial.
