The production is centered around Jenna, recovering from a nasty public breakup and a “high-profile” firing, per the synopsis. She’s able to land a job with “cutthroat mogul” Darcy. In a typical dramatic fashion, it turns out the much younger guy Erica sees is her coworker and Darcy’s son.

The two do go out, but Jenna ends up pregnant. She finds out that the two are broken up because they got caught by Darcy. It’s not until months later that Jenna calls Eric and lets him know she’s pregnant. He does not react well. At all. Like honestly, I don’t understand why she ended up staying with him in the end.

But, after Eric’s fit, they eventually end up together, ready to welcome their little bundle of joy. The film ends with the couple on the red carpet for a gala at their former magazine. Jenna tells the reporter that this isn’t a comeback; it’s the perfect find.
