Netflix is adding 37 new movies and shows this week (June 25, 2023)

June is coming to an end but that doesn’t mean Netflix is done adding new movies and shows to their streaming service this month. They are going out with a bang. This week, they are adding a new season of a fan-favorite fantasy show, a new season of a baking competition show, and a new movie based on a graphic novel.

The Witcher season 3 is finally here! Netflix is splitting up the season into two parts and the first volume is hitting the streaming service on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Geralt, Ciri, Jaskier, and Yennefer are back and fighting off monsters and humans alike. Geralt is still looking to protect Ciri from the people that want to capture her, but when the world is as corrupt as this one, there is no place that’s completely safe.

This will also be Henry Cavill’s last season as Geralt before Liam Hemsworth steps in.

More in the mood for some cake (who isn’t??)? Is It Cake, Too? hits Netflix on Friday, June 30. The baking competition show based on the social media craze is back and hosted by Mikey Day.

Is It Cake, Too? and Nimona coming to Netflix this week

A whole new group of bakers is headed to the kitchen and they will, once again, have to make cakes that look like everyday objects. Judges will then have to guess whether it’s cake or the actual thing. If the judges don’t guess correctly, the baker wins money.

Nimona is also coming to Netflix this week on Friday, June 30. The animated movie is based on the popular graphic novel of the same name by ND Stevenson. It follows a knight in a futuristic world who is framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Who can save him? A teen named Nimona who happens to also be the shape-shifting creature that the knight is supposed to destroy.

The movie features the voices of Riz Ahmed, Chloe Grace Moretz, Frances Conroy, RuPaul, Eugene Lee Yang, and Lorraine Toussaint.
