Will No Hard Feelings starring Jennifer Lawrence be on Netflix after theaters?

Jennifer Lawrence is back on the big screen in her first comedy movie No Hard Feelings. We know her for movies like The Hunger Games, Silver Linings Playbook, Joy, and Mother!, but now we’re getting the chance to see a side of Lawrence we’ve never seen on screen.

In the movie, Lawrence plays Maddie, whose bank account has seen better days. Needing a quick buck for a new car, she accepts a unique ad from wealthy parents looking for someone to help inspire their college-bound, introverted son to pursue a girlfriend.

By the looks of the trailer, the movie looks like it’s set to be the funniest new movie of the summer. But will Netflix subscribers be able to watch Jennifer Lawrence’s R-rated comedy? Here’s where and when to watch No Hard Feelings.

Is No Hard Feelings starring Jennifer Lawrence on Netflix?

As of its theatrical release date on June 23, No Hard Feelings isn’t currently available to watch on Netflix. The movie has been released exclusively to theaters for a wide release before it eventually makes its way into our homes on streaming, on demand rental, and purchase.

If you’re looking to watch some Jennifer Lawrence movies on Netflix, be sure to watch the Academy Award winner in the Netflix original movie Don’t Look Up as well as the hit movie American Hustle, which is available to stream as of June 2023.

When is No Hard Feelings coming to Netflix?

While you should definitely watch the movie in theaters, the good news is No Hard Feelings will be available to stream on Netflix sometime in the near future. Because the movie is produced and distributed by Sony, which has a streaming deal with Netflix, it’ll hit our watch lists.

There’s no set release pattern for Sony movies on Netflix. They can take anywhere from five months to a year to make their way to Netflix after completing their theatrical run. Missing hit theaters in January 2023 and was released on Netflix by May. Meanwhile, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish made its theatrical debut in December 2022 and won’t arrive on Netflix until December 2023.

Right now, we’re hoping No Hard Feelings will be released on Netflix within five months, which would be in about November 2023. However, there’s still a chance that Lawrence’s comedy film won’t start streaming until sometime in 2024. Keep your fingers crossed for a release date sometime in late 2023 for a very hilarious holiday season.
