Make Me Believe cast: Who stars in the Turkish Netflix movie?

Netflix will be adding another romantic comedy to its library on June 23, and it’s the Turkish movie Make Me Believe. If you’ve already added this film to your watchlist, we must share with you all there is to know about it, including who’s in the cast.

Make Me Believe is a Netflix original movie helmed by Evren Karabiyik Günaydin and Murat Saraçoglu from a screenplay written by Selen Bagci.

It follows a young man and woman who discover that their meddling grandmothers have tricked them into a meet-cute. Initially wanting nothing to do with one another, they soon find out that they were childhood friends. After this discovery, they become closer and eventually fall in love. But things aren’t smooth sailing for them right away because they’re forced to deal with a lot of unresolved issues from their past.

Turkish actress Ayça Aysin Turan stars in one of the leading roles as Sahra, a young woman who finds out she’s been duped into a meet-cute. Turan is best known for her previous roles in the Turkish TV shows Meryem, The Protector and Ada Masali.

Turkish actor Ekin Koç stars in the other leading role as Deniz, a young man who discovers that he’s been tricked by his grandmother into meeting a woman from his past. You might recognize Koç from his previous roles in What’s Left of You, Champion, The Steppe and Brother’s Keeper. He also had a guest role in the HBO comedy-drama series Succession, playing a man named Kadir.
