Over the years, Grey’s Anatomy has said hello and goodbye to many characters and cast members. Grey’s Anatomy season 19 said one of its most bittersweet goodbyes yet as Meredith left Seattle, but the season also welcomed a handful of new characters and cast members.

The landmark season softly rebooted the series with the addition a five new interns at the hospital, which means all five of the actors who portrayed the interns became series regulars in the main cast. Viewers got to know and love Simone, Benson, Jules, Mika, and Lucas and will continue to do so in Grey’s Anatomy season 20.
