It stars Alex Roe as a country music superstar who returns to his hometown for his friend’s funeral and to win back the only woman he’s ever really truly loved. Roe plays the role of Liam Page, while Jessica Rothe plays the role of Josie Swan, Liam’s one true love, who he left at the altar many years ago.

To be clear, Forever My Girl is not a Netflix original movie. The streaming giant licensed the film, so it won’t be available to stream on Netflix forever. It was written and directed by Bethany Ashton Wolf. Additionally, it is based on the book of the same name by Heidi McLaughlin.
