Bloodhounds cast: Who’s in the Korean Netflix series?

On June 9, Netflix released the action series Bloodhounds and many people are streaming it. But this doesn’t really come as a surprise since the show has an interesting plot and an amazing cast. Bloodhounds is a new Korean Netflix original created by Jason Kim. Additionally, it’s based on the webtoon of the same name by Jeong Chan.

The story follows two young boxers who involve themselves in a cutthroat money lending business to pay of their debt while also risking their lives to take down a powerful and cold-blooded loan shark who preys on the weak.

Woo Do-hwan portrays the role of Kim Geon-woo, a rising boxing star and ex-marine who’s priority is to help his mother’s coffee shop stay in business in the midst of COVID. You might’ve previously watched Do-hwan in the Korean TV dramas Save Me, Mad Dog, Tempted, My Country: The New Age, The King: Eternal Monarch and Joseon Attorney. Lee Sang-yi plays the role of Hong Woo-jin, a young boxer and ex-marine who doesn’t initially like Geon-woo but eventually bands together with him to take down the notorious loan shark Myeong-gil. Previously, you might’ve watched Sang-yi in the Korean dramas Once Again, Youth of May, When the Camellia Blooms and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
