Are there any Nicholas Sparks movies on Netflix right now?

If you’re a fan of romance films, you’ve likely heard of and watched at least a few Nicholas Sparks movies! Any true romantic at heart would have seen them. The author is known for his sweeping romances where the couples face many obstacles and challenges life may throw at them. He’s had many of his books adapted into movies. Are any on Netflix?

The writer has published 23 novels, 11 of which have been brought to life from page to screen! That is no easy feat. It felt like the Nicholas Sparks movie era at one point because films were coming out so often!

Are there any Nicholas Sparks movies on Netflix right now?

Good news! Three Nicholas Sparks movies are streaming on Netflix right now. Those are the 2010 movie Dear John, the 2014 film The Best of Me, and The Choice, which came out in 2016. This one is also the last story to be adapted.

Dear John stars Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried. The production is centered around the characters U.S. soldier John and Savannah. Over seven years, they stay connected through letters due to John’s deployment. But the couple’s journey isn’t an easy one.

In The Best of Me, we’re introduced to Amanda and Dawson. The former high-school sweethearts are reunited after 20 years when they visit their hometown for the funeral of a mutual friend. Seeing each other again causes sparks to fly once more. But what drove them apart the first time may do just the same in the present. The drama stars  James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan.

Since 2016, we haven’t gotten another Nicholas Sparks adaptation. The final book to be brought to the screen is The Choice, starring Benjamin Walker, Teresa Palmer, and Tom Welling. Travis (Walker) is a ladies’ man who isn’t ready to settle down. This is the opposite of Gabby (Palmer), a medical student looking to do just that with her long-term boyfriend, Ryan (Welling). When Travis and Gabby become next-door neighbors, an “irresistible attraction” blooms.
