Does Devi get accepted into Princeton in Never Have I Ever season 4?

YES! Devi gets accepted into Princeton, but it wasn’t an immediate acceptance. She had to jump through several hoops to get accepted into her dream college.

At the start of the season, Devi does everything she can to get a college recommendation from a teacher known for writing good recommendations. She was so close to receiving the recommendation, but then she blows it after the teacher overhears her saying something inappropriate to another student causing her to pass out. While not getting the recommendation was a hard pill to swallow, Devi didn’t let it get her down for long.

She tries to get her foot in the door by talking to a Princeton admissions officer at the college fair, but it doesn’t go smoothly at first. However, she gets a second chance to speak to the admissions officer, and their conversation goes well. Devi’s boyfriend, Ethan, even helps talk her up to the admissions officer. But she later finds out that Ethan stole the admissions officer’s wallet, so she goes to return it.

Although her conversation with the admissions officer about the stolen wallet doesn’t necessarily go bad, Devi is still nervous that it may ruin her chances of getting accepted into Princeton.

She decides to apply for early admission at Princeton, but her application gets deferred. With this bad news, Devi tries to better her chances of getting accepted by joining the swim team as an equipment manager. She also decides to apply to other Ivy League colleges.

But when she checks her application status later in the season, she finds out she’s been waitlisted. She also finds out that none of the other Ivy Leagues colleges she applied to accepted her.

The admissions officer at Princeton calls Devi and tells her that her best chance of getting accepted into Princeton is by writing a supplemental essay. Devi doesn’t know what to write about at first, but she figures it out after talking to her therapist. She writes the essay about her late father, submits it, and waits for a decision. The next day at school, she checks her email and finds out she’s been accepted into Princeton.

So, there you have it, folks! Devi gets accepted into her dream college. Honestly, this was the perfect way to wrap the series.
