Academy Award-nominated movie To Leslie finally has a streaming home and it’s none other than our favorite streamer, Netflix! We shared when the drama film will land on the streamer right below.

The Momentum Pictures-produced film stars Andrea Riseborough in the titular role as Leslie Rowlands. And it’s the actress who’s received a 2023 Oscar nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role! Unfortunately, Riseborough didn’t take home the award, but that doesn’t take away from her talents.

The drama is set in West Texas and tells the story of Leslie, a single mother and alcoholic who is struggling to provide for her son, per the synopsis. Luck is on her side when she wins the lottery, a total of $190,000. But a few years later, she’s back to where she started after blowing her prize on alcohol and drugs. As she reunites with her estranged son, she’s “forced to make a difficult choice.”

Besides Riseborough, the cast is made up of Andre Royo, Owen Teague, Stephen Root, James Landry Hebert, Marc Maron, Allison Janney, and others.

The production tells a strong, and unfortunately relatable, story for some viewers. So when will the drama be available to stream on Netflix?

It’s rated R, meaning it may be inappropriate for ages under 17. It was given this age rating for strong language throughout and some drug use.
