Netflix is adding 16 new movies and shows this week (May 21, 2023)
May might be almost over but Netflix is still adding quite a few new movies and shows to its lineup this week. The new additions include a new docu-series, a new action-adventure TV series, and a new cooking competition show.
First up is MerPeople. The docu-series show people who make their living pretending to be mermaids and performing at different places all over the world. And they aren’t exactly struggling financially. People have taken their passion for swimming and have quickly turned it into a half-billion-dollar business.
The series hits Netflix on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Looking for some adventure? FUBAR is coming to Netflix on Thursday, May 25. The series stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Adam Pally, Monica Barbaro, Fabiana Udenio, Travis Van Winkle, and Fortune Feimster.
MerPeople and FUBAR coming to Netflix this week
It follows a CIA agent about to retire when he discovers a family secret and is called back into the field for one last job. With Schwarzenegger, you know there is going to be plenty of action!
