While doing so, she befriends one of her professors, Alex Finnerty. Alex is from Melbourne, Australia, and is a new teacher at KISS. As he and Kitty grow closer, he reveals to her that he is adopted. With this newfound information, Kitty immediately believes Alex is her brother. However, this turns out not to be true. But Alex does have a half-sister who attends KISS. Who is she?

While Kitty is on a journey to learn more about her mom’s life, Alex is on a mission to find his birth parents. He moved to South Korea and became a teacher at KISS after discovering that his biological father was Professor Lee. He found this out by doing an ancestry test. He hoped to build a relationship with Professor Lee, but Professor Lee constantly gave him the cold shoulder. Alex later discovers that Professor Lee had no idea he had a son. So, Professor Lee is Alex’s father. But who is his biological mother? Well, Kitty finds out who Alex’s mom is before he does.

Kitty and Yuri sneak into Professor Lee’s home office to find a KISS yearbook from 1993. They open the yearbook and find a picture of Principal Lim and Eve Song (Kitty’s mother) as teens. In the picture, a young Principal Lim is obviously pregnant while a young Eve is not. This is when Kitty realizes that Alex isn’t her brother. She puts two and two together and realizes Principal Lim is Alex’s biological mother, which means Yuri is his half-sister.

Later, Kitty reveals this information to Alex, and Alex decides to confront Principal Lim. While talking to Principal Lim, Alex finds out that she really is his mom. But sadly, Principal Lim pretty much ignores Alex after their conversation. In the end, Principal Lim makes things right by telling Professor Lee that Alex is his son. Then, she tells Yuri she invited Alex to spend time with them during the holidays so that they can build a relationship with him.
