Bridgerton seasons ranked

When Bridgerton first premiered on Netflix on Christmas Day in 2020, the romantic drama series became a runaway sensation. The romance, the time period, the palpable chemistry between its leading stars — it all adds up to a Netflix show everyone can’t stop watching.

Since its premiere, the series has aired two seasons and launched a prequel spinoff centered around Queen Charlotte. No matter what happens in the series’ universe, the fans will be tuning in to watch the love stories, secrets, and steamy scenes unfold.

Bridgerton season 3 has been by far the most highly anticipated new Netflix shows coming soon, and we’re hoping to watch Penelope and Colin’s love story by the end of 2023. Where will season 3 fit into our ranking? We’ll have to wait and see where season 3 and any additional seasons or series place, but for now, we’re talking about the three season we have watched.

Bridgerton seasons and series release order

These are the seasons and series in the Bridgerton franchise so far:

  • Bridgerton season 1 (2020)
  • Bridgerton season 2 (2022)
  • Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023)

Of course, the third season will hopefully be released later this year, and Netflix has already confirmed a fourth season. More seasons are expected, and after the performance of Queen Charlotte, let’s keep our fingers crossed for more limited series.

We’ll be updating the list when Bridgerton season 3 (and eventually season 4) premieres on Netflix. Let’s get the ranking started with the season of the series that started it all!
