Based on Sophia Amoruso’s memoir of the same title, Girlboss stars Britt Robertson as Sophia Marlowe, a fictionalized version of the Nasty Gal businesswoman. When Sophia struggles with finding what to do next with her life, she starts her own online fashion retailer empire, which presents a heap of personal and professional problems as she learns the art of balance.

Girlboss wasn’t particularly well-received by critics, holding a 32% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and lasting for a single 13-episode season. While Girlboss didn’t have staying power beyond its flawed first and only season, it was definitely worth the ride for yet another excellent performance by the reliably great and always game Britt Robertson.
