Are you ready to get fast and furious with the newest movie in the franchise, Fast X, a.k.a. Fast & Furious 10? We sure are! The Vin Diesel-led films have been going on for years, and we don’t see their popularity dying down anytime soon. This is the eleventh movie overall, and the franchise will come to an end with one more following the twelfth in 2025.

But first, let’s focus on the newest addition! Joining Diesel onscreen are returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Orti, Tyerese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej Parker, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, and many more. New cast members include Jason Momoa as the new enemy Dante. Leo Abelo Perry as Dom’s (Diesel) son Brian, Brie Larson as rogue representative from the Agency Tess, and more.

Fast X centers around Dom Toretto (Diesel) of course, as he faces a new enemy – Dante (Momoa), the son of Brazilian drug kingpin Herman Reyes, per the synopsis. If you remember, Herman was defeated by the crew in Fast Five. The latest villain in the story has been brewing up a revenge plan for the last decade, and everyone Dom loves is in danger because of it. Especially his eight-year-old son Brian (Perry).

Unfortunately, this action-filled production isn't available to stream on Netflix. You'll have to make your way to another streaming service instead. That rival streaming platform being Amazon Prime Video. But in order to be granted access to the action film on the platform, you'll need to be subscribed to Amazon Prime.

Amazon offers a 30-day free trial to new members, but if you've already used it, you'll have to subscribe to an actual plan. The plans are Prime Monthly ($14.99/mo. + taxes), Prime Annual ($139/yr. + taxes), Prime Access ($6.99/mo. + taxes), and Prime Student ($7.49/mo. + taxes or $69/yr. + taxes). It doesn't matter which plan you choose to sign up for because they all will give you access to the film.

You also have the option to rent or purchase the movie digitally through Amazon Video, Google Play, Vudu, YouTube, or the Microsoft Store.

Fast X was a box office hit when it was released in theaters back in May 2023. It grossed $714.6 million worldwide against a $340 million budget. It even went on to become the fifth-highest-grossing film of 2023. Talk about impressive!

Here's what some critics had to say about the action film via Rotten Tomatoes:

"Look, if you're gonna see and Fast & the Furious you know what you're gonna get. You know there's gonna be car chases, you know it's gonna be over-the-top, but I still enjoyed this movie."

Michael Cook from KLRT-TV

"After 10 films and a spinoff, fans who’ve been along for the ride will find this joyride a blast with scenes that feel like throwbacks to their favourite characters, locations, and car chases."

Marriska Fernandes from That Shelf

"I’ve seen all ten films, you know what you’ll get with these movies—they are family-centered, outrageous cars, eye-popping visual stunts, and wild rides, plus a new outstanding villain, Dante--if you go in with that expectation, you should be entertained."

Sarah Knight Adamson
