Is Book Club: The Next Chapter on Netflix? (where to watch)

Book Club: The Next Chapter is a romantic comedy film directed by Bill Holderman from a screenplay he co-wrote with Erin Simms. It’s a sequel to the 2018 box-office hit Book Club starring Diane Keaton (Diane), Jane Fonda (Vivian), Candice Bergen (Sharon), and Mary Steenburgen (Carol).

In the sequel, these talented actresses reprise their roles from the first film as four lifelong friends who run their own book club. After Vivian announces she’s engaged, Diane, Sharon, and Carol decide to celebrate the soon-bride-to-be by taking her on a girl’s trip to Italy. But when they arrive in Italy, they quickly find themselves on a wild cross-country adventure instead of a relaxing vacation.

Andy García, Don Johnson, and Craig T. Nelson also reprise their roles from the first movie. Additionally, Giancarlo Giannini, Hugh Quarshie, and Vincent Riotta join them in the film. So, where can you watch this new rom-com? Find out below.

Is Book Club: The Next Chapter on Netflix?

Sadly, Book Club: The Next Chapter is not available to stream on Netflix. Don’t fret, though. Our favorite streamer has tons of similar content streaming right now on its platform.

Where to watch Book Club: The Next Chapter

As of May 12, the only place where you can watch this rom-com is in theaters. To find out if there are screenings near you and to purchase tickets, you can do so on websites such as Fandango, AMC Theatres, and Cinemark Theatres.

Also, the film will most likely make its way to Peacock sometime after its theater release since Focus Features is distributing it, and NBCUniversal owns Focus Features. If you didn’t know, Peacock is the streaming home for NBCUniversal content.

We’ve typically seen films distributed by Focus Features arrive on Peacock about 45 days after it opens in theaters. If this happens with Book Club: The Next Chapter, we’ll be seeing the movie on Peacock sometime at the end of June 2023.
