The Tailor on Netflix cast guide

The Tailor stars Turkish actor and model Çağatay Ulusoy as the titular character, Peyami Dokumacı, a famous tailor in Istanbul who inherited his grandfather’s business. Peyami was raised by his grandparents growing up because his father, Mustafa (Olgun Şimşek) is developmentally disabled and unable to care for him.

Ulusoy is a 32-year-old actor best known for starring in Medcezir, the Turkish adaptation of the FOX teen drama The O.C. He also starred in the Turkish Netflix series The Protector and has received several awards over the years, including the Golden Butterfly Award and GQ Middle East Television Star of the Year.

You might know Şimşek from movies like Watch Tower and Yazi Tura. He also appeared in Netflix’s drama film Cici.

Turkish star Salih Bademci plays Peyami’s friend and his financier, Dimitri. You might recognize him from the long-running series Kiralik Ask. He also starred in Netflix’s Turkish drama The Club. Actress Şifanur Gül plays Dimitri’s fiancée Esvet. The Tailor marks one of her largest roles to date.
