It’s time to jam with the Barden Bellas because Pitch Perfect is finally on Netflix! Be prepared to get the “Cups” song stuck in your head for the millionth time or maybe “Titanium” when you revisit this hilarious musical comedy.

Pitch Perfect stars Anna Kendrick as college freshman Beca Mitchell who arrives at Barden University and finds herself inextricably drawn toward the a capella group on campus known as the Barden Bellas. Reluctant at first, Becca soon finds herself with long-lasting friendships with the other Bella,s including Chloe (Brittany Snow) and Amy (Rebel Wilson).

Pitch Perfect was popular enough to spawn a whole franchise, including multiple movies and at least one spinoff television show!

How many Pitch Perfect movies are there?

There are three Pitch Perfect movies in total. Unfortunately, only the first one is currently available to watch on Netflix. You can watch Pitch Perfect 2 on Freevee. Pitch Perfect 3 is not currently streaming, but all three movies are available to rent or purchase if you’d rather own them than pay to watch them on a streaming service.

Pitch Perfect was released in 2012 and was directed by Jason Moore. In 2015, Elizabeth Banks took over as director with the sequel movie, and then Trish Sie directed the third (and, as of right now, final) movie in 2017.

A spinoff television show called Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin is currently available to watch on Peacock. The series focuses on Adam Devine’s character Bumper Allen and reunites him with his Modern Family co-star Sarah Hyland.

Unlike some other movie franchises, the Pitch Perfect movies are very straightforward. The watch order goes Pitch Perfect, Pitch Perfect 2, and Pitch Perfect 3—no fancy subtitles here! Bumper in Berlin is the newest addition to the franchise, so you’ll want to watch that last it was renewed for a second season, so there is more on the way!
