Sweet Tooth season 2 cast and character guide: Who’s in the second season of Sweet Tooth?

Sweet Tooth season 2 finds Gus and other hybrid kids held hostage by General Abbot and his army of Last Men at the Preserve. What once used to be a safe haven for hybrids is no more. The Preserve has been forcefully taken over by the evil hybrid-hating General Abbot. Abbot is power-hungry and desperate to find a cure for the H5G9 virus so that he can be in charge of who lives and who dies. Meanwhile, outside the Preserve, Jepperd and Aimee team up for a rescue mission to save Gus, Wendy, and the rest of the hybrids.

Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Dania Ramirez, Aliza Vellani, Neil Sandilands, and Naledi Murray all return in their respective roles this season. There are also some new actors who joined the cast. Find out who they play below!

Christian Convery as Gus

Christian plays Gus, the protagonist of the series. He’s a 10-year-old half-human, half-deer boy and the first hybrid to be created. He spends the first season searching for his mother but is captured by the Last Men in the season finale.

Nonso Anozie as Tommy Jepperd/Big Man

Nonso plays Jepperd, a lone traveler and former Last Man. Jepperd was also a football player for the Guardians before The Great Crumble happened. After saving Gus from poachers, Jepperd reluctantly joins him on his journey to find his mother who was believed to be living in Colorado. At the end of the first season, Jepperd is shot by Last Men and left for dead. However, he’s eventually saved by Aimee.

Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Aditya Singh

Adeel plays Dr. Singh, a doctor who desperately wants to find a cure for The Sick to help his infected wife, Rani. At the end of the first season, he and his wife or held captive by General Abbot and forced to work to discover a cure.

Stefania LaVie Owen as Bear/Becky

Stefania plays Bear, a teen girl who strongly dislikes adults and works to save hybrids. Bear is the founder of the Animal Army, but she was kicked out for not executing Jepperd in season 1. After being forced out of the Animal Army, Bear joins Gus and Jepperd on their journey while also searching for her missing hybrid sister.

Dania Ramirez as Aimee Eden

Dania plays Aimee in the fantasy series. Aimee was a therapist before the Great Crumble, but she didn’t really enjoy her life. But then the Great Crumble hit the planet, and Aimee found a home in the Essex City Zoo. After a year passed, a hybrid baby was dropped off at her doorstep. She took in the hybrid and named her Wendy.

Aimee would continue to rescue hybrid kids and provide them shelter at the Zoo which would later be called the Preserve. In the season 1 finale, Aimee is forced out of the Preserve after General Abbot and his army invade it. She would later team up with Jepperd to save their kids.

Naledi Murray as Wendy

Naledi portrays the role of Wendy, a human-pig hybrid and adopted daughter of Aimee. Unlike some of the other hybrid kids Aimee takes in, Wendy is more human than animal. In the season 1 finale, Wendy is revealed to be the long-lost younger sister of Bear. She, along with other hybrids, are captured by Last Men and held as prisoner.

Neil Sandilands as Douglas/General Abbot

Neil plays General Abbot, the leader of the Last Men and the show’s main antagonist. He hates hybrids and wants to be the only person with a cure for the Sick. Since hybrids are believed to be a key element to a potential cure, Abbot abducts Gus, Wendy, and other hybrids to use them for experimentation.

Will Forte as Richard Fox/Pubba

Will Forte plays Richard, Gus’s adoptive father who raised him in a secluded cabin in the woods to protect him from the outside world. He previously worked as a janitor at Fort Smith Labs where he met Birdie, a geneticist who created Gus. When the government begins searching Fort Smith Labs, Birdie hands Gus over to Richard and pleads with him to protect Gus.

Aliza Vellani as Rani Singh

Aliza plays Rani, Dr. Singh’s wife who has the Sick. She becomes imprisoned by General Abbot while her husband works for Abbot to discover a cure.

Marlon Williams as Johnny Abbot

Marlon plays the role of Johnny, General Abbot’s younger brother. He’s also a Last Man. Johnny isn’t as hardcore as his brother and doesn’t particularly like hurting hybrids. But he doesn’t have a choice but to do his brother’s bidding.

Sweet Tooth season 2 new cast members

Christopher Cooper Jr. as Teddy Turtle

Christopher plays Teddy Turtle, a new character introduced in Sweet Tooth season 2. He’s a hybrid who’s afraid of the dark. He’s also held hostage along with Gus and Wendy at the Preserve. Christopher’s role in Sweet Tooth is his first major role.

Yonas Kibreab as Finn Fox

Yonas plays Finn Fox, a new character in the second season. Like Teddy Turtle, Finn Fox is a hybrid who is held captive by the Last Men at the Preserve. He has a painful past but isn’t afraid to speak up.
