Despite Uncoupled being a riveting Netflix original series and the title being led by Neil Patrick Harris, one of Hollywood’s favorite stars, the 2022 series couldn’t stand apart from the many other titles on the streaming service.

The comedy series was canceled in January 2023 due to unfavorable viewership numbers (What’s on Netflix reports that the title didn’t stay in the Top 10 for that long), which prompted many to believe that this was the end of the show forever. However, a title this unique couldn’t stay down for long, as the show got saved by another streaming service and will air its anticipated sophomore season on that site shortly. Hence, why Uncoupled is leaving Netflix in May 2023.

With this news, you’re probably wondering where exactly fans can stream the 2022 title after it departs from the streaming service in the next month. And more importantly, what the fate of the show is afterward. Here’s everything we know so far!

Where will Uncoupled season 2 stream?

According to VarietyUncoupled was saved by Showtime not too long after its cancellation. With this in mind, we predict that the series will stream on Showtime, or the site’s parent, Paramount+.

Our prediction doesn’t exactly mean that the show will stream on two places at the same time, as Variety reports that Paramount+ and Showtime will soon merge into one site, Paramount+ with Showtime. When (or if) this new site will officially launch is unknown. But once it does, we expect Uncoupled to be amongst the first titles available to watch, so you’ll get to catch up with all your favorite moments, as well as see what’s to come in the second season.

While you wait for the Neil Patrick Harris-led title to release season 2, be sure to catch the pilot season on Netflix before it leaves in May 2023. And be sure to stay tuned with Netflix Life to learn more official updates about where (and when) the show will stream next.
