Netflix is adding 15 new movies and shows this week (April 23, 2023)

A new week is here and while April is quickly coming to an end, Netflix is still adding a bunch of new movies and shows to its lineup. This week the new additions include a comedy special, the final part of a Netflix Original series, and a new season of a Netflix adventure drama.

John Mulaney is back on Netflix with a new comedy special called John Mulaney: Baby J. The special has the comedian talking about his intervention, his stay at rehab, and the past couple of chaotic years. It’s coming to Netflix on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

Firefly Lane season 2 is also back with part 2. It hits the streaming service on Thursday, April 27. This is the final season of the series.

Sweet Tooth and Firefly Lane back on Netflix this week

Tully and Kate are back and while their friendship has hit a very big obstacle, it seems like they aren’t willing to throw it all away, especially with Kate’s cancer diagnosis. And as we’ve seen in past seasons, we get to see how they are dealing with their present issues and also what they dealt with in the past.

Sarah Chalke and Katherine Heigl are back as Kate and Tully, respectively.

Sweet Tooth is also back this week with season 2. The action-adventure show returns to Netflix on Thursday, April 27.

In the new season, there is a new wave of the Sick, and Gus and his friends are being held prisoner by General Abbot and the Last Men. Abbott is looking to use the children for experiments to find a cure and gain as much power as he can. Gus decides to agree to the experiments and finds out more about his origins.

Jepperd and Aimee team up to find Gus and his friends and free them from General Abbott.
