Netflix Beef ending explained: What happens to Danny and Amy in the end?

Beef ending explained: What happens to Danny and Amy in the end?

At the end of the season, Danny and Amy get stranded in the canyons after driving their cars off the side of a cliff and crashing. Luckily, they survive the crash but quickly get dehydrated while in the desert, succumbing to the effects of poisonous berries. The entire finale episode is spent with Danny and Amy suffering from hallucinations as they talk and bond while dying in the wilderness.

Eventually, they do find their way out after surviving the night. They run into George, who mistakenly believes Danny is hurting Amy and shoots him. Danny is placed on a ventilator in the hospital, seemingly in critical condition. Amy crawls into the hospital bed beside him, and in the final seconds of the episode, Danny stirs enough to put his arm around her.

After everything they’ve been through, Beef ends with Amy and Danny bonded by their shared trauma.

Beef ending: Does Paul die?

The penultimate episode of Beef leaves Paul’s life hanging in the balance as it suggests that he gets shot by the cops when he climbs over Jordan’s wall. In the finale, Danny sees that Paul texted him while he was out of cell phone range, and he seems to be fine even if he is super pissed at Danny after his brother admitted to trashing his college applications years ago. So, yes, Paul is alive.

Does Danny die in the end?

Danny is in critical condition at the end of Beef, but the ending seems to imply that he will be okay and recover.

Who dies in Beef?

By the end of the season, only a few people actually die. Jordan is killed in a shocking way when Naomi closes the panic room door on her, and Michael gets shot in the head when the police arrive at Jordan’s home. Everyone else makes it out alive, although Isaac is arrested again.

Do Amy and George get divorced in Beef?

George asks Amy for a divorce, but we don’t see the divorce play out. However, by the end of the season, their relationship is in a bad place, and George has been granted emergency custody over June. It doesn’t look good for their future.
