Netflix’sThe Night Agent is everyone’s new favorite show, and luckily we haven’t seen the last of the political thriller series. The streaming giant handed out an early season 2 renewal only a week after its release, and fans are excited to see what’s next for newly promoted Night agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) in The Night Agent season 2.

Unfortunately, it will be quite some time before the new season makes its way to Netflix. In fact, Netflix has already confirmed that the second season will come out in 2024. Although we’re eager to see more of The Night Agent, considering the filmmaking process, a 2024 release makes sense. There’s just no way the second season would be finished in time to make a 2023 release. It’s rare when Netflix releases two seasons of a show in the same year, anyway.

So while we wait for the second season, we’ve been keeping ourselves busy by getting to know the cast better. Naturally, we would start with the show’s leading star Gabriel Basso. We keep seeing a question regarding his appearance in the teen series iCarly circulating on the internet. People want to know what character he played. Well, we’ve done the research and have the answer. Read on to find out.

Who did The Night Agent star Gabriel Basso play in iCarly?

Gabriel Basso appeared in one episode of season 2 of iCarly. He made an appearance in the episode titled “iLook Alike” and portrayed the role of fake Freddie. When Spencer and Mrs. Benson refuse to let Carly, Sam, and Freddie go to a mixed martial arts fight, the trio come up with a sneaky plan by hiring look-alikes to trick Spencer into thinking they’re still at the house. But, as expected, their plan goes entirely wrong when Spencer eventually finds out they sneaked out and went to the fight anyway.

Basso doesn’t have that many lines in the episode, and you might not recognize him right away because he was much younger, shorter, had darker hair, and had no facial hair. But that’s definitely him playing fake Freddie.

Fortunately, Netflix has the first two seasons of iCarly on its platform. So if you want to watch this episode of iCarly, make sure to look for episode 10 of season 2.
