It follows Detective Maik Briegand as he investigates a gruesome murder in his hometown of Lauchhammer with help from LKA investigator Annalena Gottknecht. But as Maik works to crack the case, his past demons come back to haunt him, and he’s forced to confront them.

Misel Maticevic stars in the leading role as the protagonist, Maik Briegand. You might recognize Maticevic from his previous roles in TV shows such as Blackout – Die Erinnerung ist tödlich, Zodiak – Der Horoskop-Mörder, In the Face of Crime, Fast Forward, Dogs of Berlin, Tatort and Babylon Berlin. He also had roles in the movies Lost Killers, The Vow and Exile.

Odine Johne plays the role of Annalena Gottknecht, an LKA investigator who assists Maik in solving the murder case of a teenage girl. Johne is known for her roles in the shows Schule fürs Leben, Tatort and Leipzig Homicide. You might’ve also watched her in the films The Wave, Brüderchen und Schwesterchen, Nordland and Agnes.
