Netflix’s latest documentary series Waco: American Apocalypse is releasing on March 22 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the tragic event that occurred in Waco, Texas, in 1993 when a standoff between cult leader David Koresh and his followers against the ATF and other Texas law enforcement ended in a 51-day siege and more than 80 deaths.

There have been many different documentaries, books, and television specials recounting the Waco tragedy and David Koresh, but one of the most popular dramatizations of this particular story is the 2018 miniseries starring Taylor Kitsch as Koresh.

The crime thriller aired on the Paramount Network from January to February 2018 and, in addition to Kitsch, featured a star-studded cast that includes Michael Shannon, Andrea Riseborough, Paul Sparks, Rory Culkin, Shea Whigham, Melissa Benoist, John Leguizamo, Julia Garner, and Glenn Fleshler.

I believe the miniseries was on Netflix for a while a couple of years ago, but it has since exited the platform. However, since Netflix is releasing a new Waco documentary and it’s the 30th anniversary, people might be wondering if the show will be added back. Here’s what we know right now.

Is Waco on Netflix?

Even though the Waco docuseries Waco: American Apocalypse was recently added to Netflix, you cannot watch the scripted Waco series starring Taylor Kitsch on the platform right now. Netflix hasn’t indicated any plans to re-add the show to its catalog.
