You season 4 part 2 is now streaming on Netflix, and everyone’s watching the remaining episodes of the fourth season to see how everything wraps up. More specifically, people want to know if Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) is alive. She appears in the part 2 trailer, so viewers are looking forward to seeing how she returns.

Let’s first discuss how things ended up for Love Quinn at the end of season 3. During dinner, Love poisons Joe with aconite which quickly takes over his body and paralyzes him. However, Joe was one step ahead of Love and anticipated she would poison him, so he took adrenaline beforehand. Adrenaline is aconite’s antidote, so Joe was able to regain movement.

He gets the upper hand and injects Love with his own lethal dose of aconite, which kills her quickly. Then, Joe stages Love’s death as a murder-suicide before setting the house on fire. But he makes sure to cut off two of his toes and leave them at the murder scene so the police will believe he’s dead. To sum everything up, Love Quinn dies in the season 3 finale.

Is Love Quinn alive in You season 4 part 2?

For all the people who love Love Quinn and hoped she’d be alive this season, we find out in episode 9 that she’s not actually alive. The short clip shown in the trailer of her talking to Joe was Joe hallucinating that she was there. At this point in the episode, Joe has gone completely off the rails. He’s desperately searching for the key to open the cage he locked Marienne in because she’s seemingly having a severe allergic reaction.

He imagines he’s speaking with Love and asks her if she has the key. Love ignores his question, and they start talking about their past relationship and how it went wrong. Joe apologizes to Love for killing her, and Love tells him that it’s just who he is. Before the hallucination ends, Love hands Joe a gun and tells him that somebody needs to die for everything to end for good. She then grabs Joe’s hand with the gun and lifts the gun to his head before pulling the trigger. Then, Joe suddenly wakes up from his hallucination.

How many episodes of You season 4 is Victoria Pedretti in?

Unfortunately, Victoria Pedretti only appears in episode 9. We had hoped her character would play a bigger part in the remaining episodes of season 4, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, her purpose this season was to show Joe that no matter how hard he tries to change and prove he’s not a serial killer, it’s just in his nature.
