One film series that always manages to make us laugh is The Hangover movies! Audiences were introduced to the hilarious story for the very first time in 2009 with the inaugural production. It was then followed by the sequel in 2011 and the third film in 2013. So is there still more to come?

The first movie introduces us to the “Wolfpack,” a group of four friends: Doug, Phil, Stu, and Alan. They go on a bachelor party to end all bachelor parties in Las Vegas, two days before Doug’s wedding, per the synopsis. And the celebrations get so crazy that the three groomsmen wake up the morning after the party and don’t remember anything. And their biggest problem? They can’t find Doug!

The Hangover Part II takes place two years after the first film. This time around, Stu is the one tying the knot, and he’s doing so in Thailand, where his bride is from, per the synopsis. The groom doesn’t want the same thing that happened in Vegas two years ago to happen again. So he tries to play it safe, but that’s going to be harder than he thinks with his best buds Phil and Alan there.

The trio of films have more than proved to be a hit. So can we expect to see a fourth installment? We’ve got the answer for you below!

Unfortunately, there will not be a fourth The Hangover movie. The production series was meant to be a trilogy, and the conclusion to the comedic story was released in May 2013.

Just how many more shenanigans can the Wolfpack get into? Well, The Hangover Part III sees Phil, Stu, and Doug all settled in their lives. But Alan still isn’t. He goes off his medications and is looking for a sense of purpose, per the synopsis. That’s what he has his best friends for! And they’re going to help him through this personal crisis in the spot it all began — Las Vegas.

The films star the main group of friends, Bradley Cooper as Phil Wenneck, Ed Helms as Dr. Stuart “Stu” Price, Zach Galifianakis as Alan Garner, and Justin Bartha as Doug Billings.

All three of The Hangover films are currently streaming on Netflix.
