Beef

Beef starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong arrives on Netflix on Thursday, April 6, 2023. It’s a comedy-drama series created by Lee Sung Jin and follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers. Yeun plays Danny, a down-on-his-luck contractor, while Wong portrays Amy, a self-made entrepreneur. After the incident, Danny and Amy just can’t let what happened go. Both seeking revenge, they let their feud slowly consume their lives and every thought and action.

Besides Yeun and Wong, the rest of the amazingly talented cast includes Ashley Park, David Choe, Young Mazino, Joseph Lee, Patti Yasutake, Maria Bello, Justin H. Min, Andrew Santino, Rekstizzy, Mia Serafino, Remy Holt, and Ione Skye.

There are 10 episodes in the first season, and each episode is 30 minutes long. Fortunately, we don’t have to worry about the show being split into parts because the entire season will be dropped on April 6. Since the episodes aren’t that long, you can probably to binge-watch the complete first season in one sitting if you want to.

Before Beef makes its way to Netflix, it is scheduled to premiere at the 2023 SXSW Festival on March 18. So if you’re at the festival, you should check it out.
