Next in Fashion season 3: Will there be another season of the reality show?

Next in Fashion has proved to be a resilient little reality show. After the design-centric competition featuring co-hosts Alexa Chung and Tan France premiered in 2020, it was canceled shortly after, but then a couple of years later, Netflix suddenly revived the series. Next in Fashion season 2 premiered on March 3, 2023.

Considering no one thought the show would be back for a second season, it now begs the question of whether Netflix will order Next in Fashion season 3. Is there room for another installment of this reality competition show?

Netflix has countless reality series these days, a mixture of cooking shows, fashion shows, makeup shows, dating shows, and game shows. The name of the game is unscripted as the streaming service pumps out more and more of this type of content. Some of it is great, and some of it not so much. But Next in Fashion happens to be one of the better reality offerings on the service, so I’d love to see it continue for another season.

Will there be a Next in Fashion season 3?

It’s too early to say for certain, but I think there is a good chance Netflix will renew it and give us Next in Fashion season 3. It would be a little pointless for the streaming service to revive the show after cancellation just to cancel it again.

Having seen both seasons, I think the second season is stronger than the first with a much better format and overall lighter tone. Alexa Chung and Tan France were great, but there’s something more relaxed and enjoyable about the chemistry between France and his new co-host, Gigi Hadid.

Plus, as I’ve mentioned before, reality and unscripted fare tend to be cheaper to produce than scripted content, so unless this show really bombs, I think it has a decent shot at getting a third season or more.
