The Witcher season 3

The third season of The Witcher has gotten a significant amount of buzz because it’s the last season that will feature Henry Cavill as the titular character Geralt. Cavill is exiting the show ahead of its fourth season and will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth.

But even though The Witcher is getting a new cast member, the third season has impressed many fans with just how book accurate it is. Overall, season 3 has been a fantastic return to form for the show, and it’s carefully adapting its source material from Time of Contempt.

Most of season 3 has been about the familial unit between Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri, but it has also been setting up for the momentous Thanedd coup from the books. The first part of the season takes us to Thanedd and reveals one of the most pivotal antagonists in the story. We’ll see the actual coup play out in the second part.

There are only three episodes left of the third season, but the latter half of the season will feature some of the most significant moments from the show so far, and we can’t wait to see how everything goes down with the coup, the Korath Desert, and Brokilon Forest.
