Missing One Piece episodes return to Netflix in February 2023

We have some good news for One Piece fans regarding those missing episodes of the series!

One Piece fans were super bummed that Netflix removed the first four seasons and 130 episodes of the anime series in February 2023. Netflix announced the news in January, and fans had a few weeks to watch the episodes one last time before they were removed from the streaming service.

Netflix pulled the episodes in mid-February and left fans with nine seasons of One Piece, but there’s been an important development recently.

New One Piece episodes are on Netflix

Shortly after removing the first four seasons of One Piece, Netflix added those four seasons back! The missing episodes have returned and all is right in the world.

Obviously, this is great news that Netflix added the first four seasons of One Piece back and made them available for those in the US to watch the series. It was shocking that the episodes would get away from Netflix with the streamer releasing the first season of its live-action One Piece series in 2023.

It also allows new fans who want to watch the anime series before Netflix’s show comes out to do just that. No one wants to jump into a show several seasons into it, so having those first episodes is super important for Netflix.

How many One Piece episodes are on Netflix right now?

Prior to Netflix adding the first four seasons of One Piece, there were only 195 episodes of One Piece on Netflix. There are 130 episodes in the first four seasons, so there are 325 episodes of One Piece on Netflix US right now.

There are 13 seasons of One Piece streaming on Netflix US, which should keep you busy for quite a long time. It might not hold you over until Netflix’s One Piece series is released, but that’s not a bad thing.

Are the new One Piece episodes coming to Netflix?

Yes! Obviously, Netflix is making its own One Piece show, which is going to be one of the biggest Netflix shows coming in 2023. It’s a huge swing, and we hope it works out for them.

As of right now, though, we don’t know of any more episodes of the anime that are coming to Netflix before Netflix’s One Piece premieres. Netflix is always adding new movies and shows every month, though, and that’s a pretty good sign for One Piece. The rights to the anime series are obviously highly coveted. We know you can stream the series on Crunchyroll and other platforms. If Netflix can secure the rights or license the rights to One Piece, more episodes will be added to the streaming service.
