It’s time to get your binge on, teen drama fans! Outer Banks season 3 is now streaming on Netflix and it’s another wild ride from start to finish.

Not only do we get to see highly anticipated reunions, but there are also new romances and upsetting deaths as the Pogues return to the OBX and try to find treasure once more. John B’s (Chase Stokes) father Big John (Charles Halford) is back, but he’s not fully out of trouble yet. There are threats trying to get him that will prove very dangerous to the whole group. Plus, there’s a whole lot of relationship drama between John B and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) which puts them in a bad place.

If you haven’t started watching Outer Banks season 3, what are you waiting for?

Spoilers ahead for Outer Banks season 3.

There are many highs and lows for the Pogues throughout Outer Banks season 3, naturally, and the new episodes really put a focus on John B and Sarah’s relationship again. With John B busy with his dad and his plans to find treasure, he kind of ignores Sarah when she needs him most. Fans will remember that Sarah has a terrible relationship with her family, and the last time she saw her dad Ward (Charles Esten), he was strangling her. She definitely doesn’t trust her brother Rafe (Drew Starkey) and she can’t go back to Tanneyhill, leaving her with nowhere to go once they’re back in the OBX.

The one place Sarah does feel kind of welcome, however, is back with the Kooks. She joined the Pogues back in season 1, but her old friends miss her. Especially her ex-boyfriend, Topper (Austin North). The two start hanging out again in Outer Banks season 3, and they get a lot closer. Emotionally and physically.

Do Sarah and Topper hook up in Outer Banks season 3?

Unfortunately for those rooting for Sarah and John B, Sarah and Topper do kiss in Outer Banks season 3. After a night of hanging out with the Kooks, Sarah spends the night with Topper on the beach and they get intimate. We don’t see what they do exactly, but Sarah later tells Kiara (Madison Bailey) that they only kissed.

But as much as Topper wants to get back together with Sarah, she doesn’t feel the same way. She still loves John B, understandably, and though she appreciates all the help that Topper lends her, she doesn’t want to be his girlfriend again. The two do not get back together, and Sarah eventually reconciles with John B.

Who does Sarah end up with in Outer Banks season 3?

Sarah and John B get back together toward the end of Outer Banks season 3, and Sarah is a huge help in saving John B’s dad and finding the treasure. Though Big John doesn’t approve of Sarah at first because she comes from a family of Kooks and her father is one of his enemies, he eventually comes around and realizes she’s a great person.

John B and Sarah are in a good place together by the end of the season, but with two major deaths they’re mourning together, things can’t be easy. Plus, Topper is furious with them and I don’t think he’ll easily forgive Sarah this time around. In Outer Banks season 4, we’re sure he’ll be one of the bigger villains.
