Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes started dating in April 2020, but unfortunately, they called it quits sometime after their one-year anniversary in 2021. At the time of this writing, Stokes, 30, is in a relationship with 29-year-old country music star Kelsea Ballerini, while Cline is choosing to keep her new romantic relationship private.

Is Madelyn Cline dating Jackson Guthy?

According to People Magazine, it’s rumored that Cline, 25 is dating singer-songwriter Jackson Guthy, 26. Guthy previously dated influencer Olivia Jade, the daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli. Guthy and Cline were photographed out together in California this past summer, though we shouldn’t expect any PDA photos of the pair posted on their respective Instagram accounts anytime soon.

Guthy is best known for songs like “Giants,” “Two Little Lights,” “What If It’s Not,” and “Like I Did.” He first rose to fame after performing his debut track “Loving” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2011 and then formed the group North of Nine with the help of music producer Randy Jackson. In her recent cover story for Cosmopolitan, Cline confirmed she is “happily taken,” adding: “All I know is he makes me incredibly happy. And I’ve truly never been happier, and I feel very, very empowered.” In an interview with TODAY, the actress elaborated further on her choice to keep her boyfriend’s identity under wraps, explaining:

"“I realized there are parts of my life that only me or one other person are entitled to. I prefer it that way. It also just makes things more special. That’s usually how relationships are.”"

In a feature from The Cut, it was confirmed Cline lives with her boyfriend in Malibu, meaning they’ve gotten pretty serious. We’re happy for her! While we can all speculate that Guthy is the lucky man in Cline’s life, but we shouldn’t expect the Outer Banks star to confirm it. And fans will just have to accept and respect that.
