Siren: Survive the Island release date, synopsis, trailer, and more

Everyone knows that the first rule of Fight Club is that you do not talk about fight club, but with the upcoming release of Netflix’s combat show, we’re sure that viewers will not be able to stop speaking about it. Siren: Survive the Island, written by Chae Jin-ah, is a high-stakes Korean combat survival entertainment show where 24 women with extraordinary physical capabilities and skills are gathered together to form 6 teams divided by career groups and fight one another.

The teams are formed according to their profession which could be police officers, firefighters, bodyguards, stuntwomen, military women, and athletes.

The reality series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. You can expect the show to drop at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on its release date. There’s not that much time left until we see the impressive bunch of ladies compete in the survival game.

Siren: Survive the Island synopsis 

Though brief, Netflix has provided us with a description of the upcoming release, directed by Lee Eun-Kyung, which gives us a few more details on what to expect from the new reality show. It reads:

"“24 female police officers, firefighters, bodyguards, soldiers, athletes and stuntwomen team up by profession to compete for survival on a remote island.”"

As mentioned, 24 women with impressive physical and mental strength with backgrounds in policing, bodyguarding, and athletics will compete to prove that they’re the best. Unfortunately, not much is known about the contestants of Siren: Survive the Island, however, we’re sure that once the series makes its debut, more information will be available.
