There’s a new true crime documentary now out, and it truly is hard to believe how one person could take over the lives of so many young people. Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence is a three-episode docuseries that portrays the origins and goings-on of a sex cult at the liberal arts college in New York.

The production features sit-down interviews with the victims of conman Larry Ray, who sexually, psychologically, and physically abused the college students for a decade. According to PEOPLE, the cult leader was able to get easy access to the young men and women after he moved into his daughter Talia’s dorm after he was released from prison in 2010.

He posed as a “therapist” of sorts to his daughter’s roommates, saying he wanted to help them, the news outlet shares. And that’s how he started the years of abuse, which included “sexual exploitation, verbal and physical abuse, extortion, forced labor, and prostitution.” Some of this didn’t just happen on campus, but at Ray’s apartment as well.

It’s a horrible story, but his victims have been brave enough to tell it to the world. So is the docuseries available to watch on Netflix?

Is Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence on Netflix?

Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence is not streaming on Netflix. The docuseries is a Hulu Original, which means it streams exclusively on the platform. The three-part production was released on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023. If you don’t have a Hulu subscription and want to watch the documentary, you can do so for $7.99/month with ads, or $14.99/month with no advertisements.

So where is Ray now? He was arrested in 2020 by the FBI and went on trial in April 2022, according to PEOPLE. Though he was initially sentenced to 60 years in prison, his defense team was able to bring it down to 15 years.

Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence is now streaming on Hulu.
