You season 4 part 1 is finally streaming on Netflix, and we hope you’re making your way through the new episodes. If you’ve at least made it to the second episode, you’d know about the surprising secret of one of the new characters. Joe finds out about this character’s secret while snooping, and he is shocked by it himself. Who’s secret is it? What is the secret and what does it mean? We answered these questions below.

As Joe tries to figure out who the anonymous texter/killer is, he observes each member of the circle of wealthy friends. He observes Gemma and Blessing first but doesn’t believe they’re capable of murder. So, he moves on to Adam. He goes to Sundry House and watches Adam in his meeting. While watching Adam, Joe looks up information about him on the internet. Joe comes across an article about a play Adam was in and notices that his character’s name seems familiar.

He pulls out Malcolm’s pocketbook he stole from his office earlier and notices that Adam’s character’s name is written in the book. Joe then realizes that Malcolm was talking about Adam in his book, and every Thursday, Adam does something that Malcolm knew about. So, to get to the bottom of the mystery, Joe decides to follow Adam.

Adam goes to the kitchen area of Sundry House and enters a room. Joe hides so he won’t be noticed but sees one of the Sundry House employees enter that same room. He then walks to the door and peeks in to see Adam kneeling to the employee in his underwear. Joe watches Adam beg the employee to pee on him. So, Adam’s secret is that he has a pee fetish. But what is a pee fetish?

A pee fetish is a sexual kink where a person becomes sexually aroused by the thought, sight, taste, or feel of urine. It’s also known as “piss play,” “golden showers,” or “watersports.” In Adam’s case, he becomes turned on by the feeling of someone urinating on him. We later find out that Adam only becomes sexually aroused when the person urinating on him is of the lower class. When he and Phoebe try to do it, Adam can’t get into it because he views Phoebe as above him, not beneath him.

So there you have it, folks! Adam’s big secret is that he has a pee fetish, and this fetish is what ultimately puts a rift in his and Phoebe’s relationship.
