Is Not Dead Yet starring Gina Rodriguez on Netflix? (where to watch)

Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez makes her return to television in the new comedy series Not Dead Yet. The series also stars New Girl favorite Hannah Simone and Superstore standout Lauren Ash, making for the perfect clash of sitcom worlds.

In Not Dead Yet, Rodriguez stars as Nell Serrano, a newly single hot mess who needs to give her life and career a dramatic revival. When she lands a job writing obituaries, Nell begins to receive life advice from the dead people she’s writing about.

The series inspired its story from the book Confessions of a Forty-Something F**k Up

Is Not Dead Yet on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Not Dead Yet won’t be available to stream on Netflix. The series premieres with two episodes on Wednesday, Feb. 8 on ABC and will be available to stream on Hulu next day as with all of the network’s shows.

If you’re looking for titles starring Gina Rodriguez on Netflix, make sure to watch the Netflix original romantic comedy Someone Great and the original sci-fi drama Awake. Of course, her star-making series Jane the Virgin remains available on the streamer for the time being.

Where to watch Not Dead Yet starring Gina Rodriguez

As previously mentioned, new episodes of Not Dead Yet air Wednesdays on ABC. Following the two-episode premiere on Feb. 8, the comedy will debut in its post Abbott Elementary timeslot of 9:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 15. The episodes will be available on Hulu the next day.

While there’s a possibility that the series could stream on Netflix in the future, as fellow ABC series Grey’s Anatomy currently has a home on the streamer, it’s not super likely since a majority of the network’s shows land on Hulu. But you never know what the future may hold.
