Stranger Things season 5 latest updates (February 2023)

You all know Stranger Things season 5 is on its way, but if you were hoping to take a trip to Hawkins and the Upside Down at some point during the month of love, then you’ll be left disappointed as the highly anticipated final season, from creators Matt and Ross Duffer, is not coming to Netflix in February 2023.

While it might be disappointing, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, as bringing the Upside Down to life takes time.

The upcoming season of the smash hit Netflix show will be its last, seeing Will (Noah Schnapp), Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), and the rest of the gang make their final stand to save Hawkins.

Currently, Stanger Things season 5 does not have an official release date, and unfortunately, the fifth installment is unlikely to land on Netflix for a while. But we still may be able to offer you a prediction as to when we could expect the new episodes to drop on Netflix.

In a recent TikTok, Noah Schnapp revealed that filming for the fifth season will begin in May 2023.

Given that filming is expected to last anywhere about six months before the new season moves on to the post-production stage, a mid-2024 release is very plausible. However, given that this is just our prediction the official release date could look completely different, so take this information with a grain of salt.
