A girl’s name and the years she disappeared are listed in the caption, indicating that the girl pictured is missing, just like Amaya was. It’s similar to how the second book in Javier Castillo’s series begins, indicating that a second season would follow the plot of The Souls Game.

In addition to the mystery of the girl in the picture, The Snow Girl could also follow up on Miren’s rape. She doesn’t find her assailants in the first season, but that’s something she could continue pursuing in season 2.
