The Glory part 2 release date, teaser, cast, and more
By Mads Lennon
Netflix’s acclaimed Korean revenge drama The Glory will soon return with new episodes. Below we’ll highlight everything we know about The Glory part 2, including the release date, a sneak peek, the episode count, and more.
The Glory is about a young woman who was ruthlessly tormented during high school and has since developed an extensive revenge plan against her bullies. Now an adult and a primary school teacher, she puts her revenge plan into action.
The Glory part 2 release date
The Glory part 2 will be released on March 10, 2023.
The Glory part 2 episode count
Like the first part, the second part of The Glory will consist of eight episodes, bringing the total to 16 episodes in all.
The Glory part 2 teaser
On January 25, Netflix released a sneak peek of The Glory part 2, which looks intense.
The Glory part 2 plot
When we left off with The Glory, Myeong-o was murdered after following Dong-eun’s orders. We still don’t know what happened to him, so I assume that will be uncovered in the next batch of episodes.
The ending also leaves off with a significant shocker when Do-yeong arrives at Dong-eun’s apartment. Now he knows Dong-eun has a revenge plan, but whose side will he take? Hers or his wife’s? Dong-eun and Hyeon-nam are still working together, but things take a dark turn for Hyeon-nam as Dong-eun reveals her plan to send her daughter away to study abroad and protect her from her abusive father.
In part 2, we should see precisely how Dong-eun plans to execute her plan of revenge against her tormentors.
The Glory part 2 cast
Since The Glory was filmed all at once, I don’t expect many significant casting changes going into the second part. Expect all of the key players to return.
The Glory cast list
- Song Hye-kyo as Moon Dong-eun
- Lee Do-hyun as Joo Yeo-jeong
- Lim Ji-yeon as Park Yeon-jin
- Yeom Hye-ran as Kang Hyeon-nam
- Park Sung-hoon as Jeon Jae-joon
- Jung Sung-il as Ha Do-yeong
Will there be a third season of The Glory?
Generally, with K-Dramas, the shows are shot and created with an end goal in mind from the start. The fact that Netflix ordered 16 episodes upfront means that’s probably all we’ll get for this specific story, but you never know!
