Is The Lazarus Project on Netflix?

The Lazarus Project premieres tonight on TNT. What about streaming the series online? Will episodes head to Netflix at all?

Not everyone is happy with the way things are working at TNT. Since Warner Bros. and Discovery merged, there have been a lot of cancellations. The entire scripted programming section for TNT went.

Yet, The Lazarus Project is a new show premiering on the network. It’s an apt name considering it’s the first scripted original to air for some time—even Snowpiercer Season 4, which has been fully filmed, isn’t going to air on TNT. It is a UK series that’s been acquired.

While it will air on TNT on Monday nights, a lot of people will want to know where to stream it. Will this new series, starring Paapa Essiedu, come to Netflix? Where will it stream online?

The Lazarus Project is not coming to Netflix

As of right now, you won’t be able to stream the series on Netflix. As a TNT series, it will be available on TNT On Demand after new episodes air. This is the only streaming home for now.

There is a chance that episodes will head to HBO Max afterward. This usually happens with TNT shows, but we’ve seen a lot of change over recent months. Just look at how Snowpiercer was quietly scrubbed from HBO Max last year.

Some TNT shows head to Netflix internationally. We saw Snowpiercer become a Netflix Original outside of the U.S. That isn’t going to happen with this series, though. In Canada, the episodes will be on Stack TV or the Global TV App. In the UK, the show will go to Sky’s streaming platform.

What is The Lazarus Project about?

Is the series going to be worth the risk watching? That’s what new shows are now, right? They’re a risk!

If you like shows that involve time travel and secret organizations, I think so. Essiedu plays George, the latest recruit into “The Lazarus Project.” This is a secret organization that sends people back in time to fix the events that happened to prevent extinction from happening. Those who are sent back are able to remember everything.

When there’s a freak accident that harms someone close to George, he can’t go back in time to fix it. This wasn’t a global problem. So, George has to decide if he’s going to risk his part in the project to save someone he loves. What would you do?
