Anna Kendrick’s new movie is a dark, haunting thriller exploring the nature of psychologically abusive relationships. The film, Alice, Darling, is already receiving great reviews from critics and currently has an 82% approval rating and a Certified Fresh seal on Rotten Tomatoes.

Kendrick plays a woman trapped in a codependent relationship with her abusive boyfriend, Simon, but after a vacation with two female friends, she begins reassessing her life and tries to break free from him. Unfortunately, Simon’s vengeance knows no bounds.

Besides Kendrick, the movie also stars Charlie Carrick as Simon and Kaniehtiio Horn and Wunmi Mosaku as Alice’s two friends, Tess and Sophie.

Will Alice, Darling be on Netflix?

It’s highly unlikely that Alice, Darling will come to Netflix because Lionsgate has several exclusive streaming output deals, and none of them are with Netflix.

Where to stream Alice, Darling

Right now, the only place you can watch Alice, Darling is in theaters. Find out where the movie is playing near you. After the film has played in cinemas for a while, it could go to a couple of different streaming platforms. It’s a little complicated to predict where Lionsgate movies will go because they have various deals with services like Peacock, Roku, and their own streaming platform Starz.

Most likely, Alice, Darling will stream on Starz approximately six months after it releases in theaters. From there, it should move to Peacock and then back to Starz. Don’t expect to see the film on a streaming platform until at least June. Of course, if you don’t want to wait that long, you will be able to rent or buy the film digitally within a month or so of its theatrical release.
