It's A Family Affair on Netflix in June 2024: All the details about the rom-com

Netflix will be releasing a romantic comedy film titled A Family Affair in June 2024, and it's starring three of the biggest stars you could ever want in a rom-com. Once you find out what it’s about and who’s a part of the cast, you’re going to want to see this film right away!

A Family Affair is an upcoming Netflix original movie set to be directed by Richard LaGravenese from a screenplay co-written by LaGravenese himself and Carrie Solomon. LaGravenese is best known for writing and directing the films P.S. I Love You and The Last Five Years. Also, Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Alyssa Altman are producing through Roth/Kirschenbaum Films.

Netflix announced that the highly anticipated star-studded romantic comedy will make its worldwide streaming premiere on Friday, June 28. Keep reading to get all of the details on the summer movie everyone will be talking about!

Cast

The cast members leading the Netflix movie are Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman, Neighbors‘ Zac Efron, and The In Between‘s Joey King.

This isn’t the first time Kidman and Efron have worked together. They both starred in the crime drama film The Paperboy. Also, this isn’t Kidman, Efron, or King’s first project with Netflix. Kidman had a role in the Netflix musical film The Prom. Efron has a movie titled Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile and an original series titled Down to Earth with Zac Efron currently streaming on Netflix. Lastly, King starred in the lead role in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth trilogy.

On Aug. 4, 2022, it was announced that Kathy Bates and Liza Koshy had joined the cast of the movie, according to Deadline, although it is not yet clear who they are playing.
