We’re inching closer and closer to the return of Joe Goldberg in You season 4, and after that season 3 finale, we all have so many questions. Unfortunately, Victoria Pedretti will not be reprising her fan-favorite role as Love Quinn after she was murdered in the last season, and this time around Penn Badgley will be taking on a new persona as Joe disguises himself as a professor named Jonathan Moore. Across the pond and looking for the woman he fell in love with in season 3, Marienne Bellamy, we really have no idea what’s in store for him next.

You season 4 part 1 trailer

Or do we? Netflix just released the spicy trailer for You season 4 part 1, and it gives us a glimpse into all the trouble Joe’s getting into this season. Take a look at it below:

It doesn’t look like Joe’s having trouble making friends in You season 4 part 1, as the trailer shows him out partying with a bunch of sophisticated-looking people. A woman asks him why he’s relocated, questioning if he killed someone or if someone broke his heart. Of course, we know both of these theories are correct. In his voiceover, Joe explains that he’s been hanging out with “the most insane, damaged people on the Earth,” dubbing them “a circle of privileged douchebags.” As well as we know Joe, we know he won’t be able to tolerate them for long.

The You season 4 part 1 trailer also teases Joe’s new potential love interest Kate, played by Charlotte Ritchie, and a new murder mystery in London. Of course, we can assume Joe has something to do with it. We can’t wait to watch the new episodes to find out what goes down!

What’s the song in the You season 4 part 1 trailer?

The trailer is certainly effective in making us fans want more, and we love the sultry cover of a popular ’80s song. In case you want to add it to your daily playlist, the track in the preview is called “I Ran (So Far Away)” (Epic Trailer Version) by Hidden Citizens. The original song came out in 1982 and was performed by A Flock of Seagulls.

You season 4 release date

We don’t have long to catch up with Joe Goldberg, a.k.a. Jonathan Moore, out in London! The new season will be broken up into two parts, with part 1 premiering on Thursday, Feb. 9, and the second close behind on Thursday, March 9. That means we’re officially one month away from the first batch of episodes!
